Our new Admin! - Darkstar1592 - 10-05-2013
As most of you know, Darkathenes and I (Darkstar) started wynter just a little over a year ago. We have always done all the work for the server ourselves and it wasn't much of an issue because we were working together.
As most of you also know, about a month ago, Darkathenes was made unable to play vanilla minecraft. Because of this, I became the new owner and have been doing all of the work myself. Recently I thought to myself, if I'm going to be able to keep doing all this, I will need someone to help me.
I kept that in the back of my mind for a few days and one day I logged on to wynter, and Swampoleaon was online. Then it occurred to me, Swampoleoan is a current SMod and has been for around 4 months. He has been staff for about 11 months in total. That might not seem very long but knowing that wynter is 13 months old, it is pretty substantial. It is supposed to take 12 months, if you're really good at your job, to get Admin. And even then the odds of you getting Admin are very low.
But the thing that sets Swamp apart from all other players is one fact. He is the only player to have played in every single world wynter has had. Every one. The only other people to have done that are Darka and I.
That and the fact that he has had almost a year of staff experience made it clear who would be the next Admin.
